Gertie Goosey
I am entering the Imagine That Progressive Challenge 13 - Gertie Goose. I used the Tim Holtz Distress Markers to color the image. I realized that while the colors matched the theme, I don't like these markers for coloring at all. I feel like there is no control over the brush tip and the ink comes out at different flows. They are ok for watercoloring stuff, but overall I don't love these. Time to go back to my Copics!! (I also wish I would have put the ribbon over to the left like a fourth of an inch!)
Harvest Medley
The card image is the From the Heart Stamps October Free Stamp of the Month called Harvest Medley. I used my distress markers to color the image and a little bit of watered down Vintage Paper for the background color. I think I used a little bit too much water and the image was having a hard time adhering to the mat, so I had to use some Glossy Accents and heavy glass vases to get it to stick. I am pleased with how it turned out!

Penguin Cocoa
For the first time, I am entering the Imagine That Progressive Challenge 12 (Free for All). The image was free this month, so that new people could get started on the Progressive Challenge.
Again, for the first time, I made a 3 x 3 card. When printing the Penguin Cocoa image, I guesstimated the size on the small side, so had to make a smaller card with him. I heat embossed the back ground and put a little ribbon across top. Easy peasy and ready for Christmas! I didn't get the sentiments when joining this month, but I believe I will going forward. I am looking forward to participating in this challenge.
Bobbing for Apples
This card was inspired by the From the Heart Stamps September Free Stamp of the Month and I {Heart} Sketches NO. 36 challenges.
This is probably the fastest card I have ever put together. The I {Heart} Sketches NO. 36 sketch is straight forward and since I was running out of time today, I skipped having to think about a sentiment. I love this sketch and will probably use it multiple times.

Merci Birdie
The image on this card is a Doodle Pantry digi stamp named Peacock Birdie, so I am entering this card in the Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge 38. This is my second time using this digi because I love it so much! Doodle Pantry has a Freebies section, if you want to join up with this challenge for a free stamp set.
This layout was inspired by the Delightful Inspiration I {Heart} Sketches NO. 34 challenge. I am really enjoying participating in the The I {Heart} Sketches challenges. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to add the circle aspect to the card, but I think I love the way it turned out!

Hello Princess
This card's layout was inspired by the Delightful Inspiration I {Heart} Sketches NO. 32 challenge.
The image is a digi from The Stamping Chef called 'Put a Ring on it' that I edited slightly to remove the veil and colored with my Copics.

Happy Thoughts
I love bright, beautiful colors! The Polkadoodles Challenge #34 - All Things Bright and Beautiful challenge is perfect. This card features a cute little girl from the Hero Arts 'Sweet Wonderful You' clear stamp set, and I LOVE her! Now, I would tell you who the sentiment stamp is by, but I simply CANNOT find it. I have no idea where it got to. Me thinks I need to clean my craft room! You can't see it very well in the photo, but the blue paper is embossed with the Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl embossing folder.

Psst...Happy Birthday Birdie
The image on this card is a Doodle Pantry digi stamp named Peacock Birdie, so I am entering this card in the Doodle Pantry Digital Challenge 37. I absolutely fell in love with this image when I saw it and HAD to have it. I love so many of the Doodle Pantry images! They have a Freebies section, if you want to join up with this challenge for a free stamp set.
This layout was inspired by the Delightful Inspiration I {Heart} Sketches NO. 30 challenge. I am really enjoying participating in the The I {Heart} Sketches challenges. It helps me incorporate more layers and embellishments to my cards, as I tend to go very simple when left to my own devices. These challenges keep me moving forward in my card making skills!

The PURRfect Card
This card was inspired by the Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} August Free Stamp of the Month and I {Heart} Sketches NO. 29 challenges. I made the sentiment myself, using a great font from Kimberly Geswein called Architect's Daughter. I have many of her fonts, and best yet, they are FREE!
The I {Heart} Sketches NO. 29 sketch is one right up my alley. My cards tend to be pretty simple, with only a background, image, sentiment, and one embellishment. For some reason, that is just the way the cards come out, if I am not following a sketch. The sketch this week was enough to push me out of my comfort zone, but not completely scare me away.

Is Baby Frog a Tadpole?
Welcome Baby Froggie is a Cricut cutout from the Create a Critter cartridge. I made the paper strip and flowers on the right with Adirondack paint dabbers. The sentiment is heat embossed with copper embossing powder. I hope that the swirly dry embossed background looks like water, because that was the intention.
I am entering this card in the Anything Goes challenge on CDAC.
Mousey For You
This cute little card is inspired by the Delightful Inspiration {from the heart} Sketch #17 and May Free Stamp of the Month challenges.

Happy Hi!
So I haven't posted in a long time and I know this blog is very random. I always have grand intentions to post, but have a hard time following through. Today, the i {heart} card sketches Sketch No. 16 challenge has inspired me to post again...hopefully weekly! LOL!
Here is the sketch:
And here is my card:
You can't tell from the picture, but the butterfly is sparkly! Sparkly butterfly makes this card 10 times better! Hope you enjoyed the card. =)
I would also like to enter the Bugaboo Stamps May Anything Goes challenge from their blog Catch the Bug.
